MIST Organizes “Honesty and Engineering Ethics” Seminar for Future Engineers
The Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) hosted a seminar titled “Honesty and Engineering Ethics” on 22 December 2025, organized by the Department of Science and Humanities (MIST). The seminar was graced by Major General Md Nasim Parvez, BSP, ndc, afwc, psc, Commandant of MIST, as the Chief Guest, who spoke with an inspiring address on leadership and integrity for future engineers.
The seminar emphasized the role of moral development in personal and professional life. Professor Dr. Mohammad Rafiqul Islam, Vice Chancellor of IUT, gave emphasis on ethics in engineering, followed by Professor Dr. Mohammad Kaykobad of BRAC University, who discussed AI and Engineering Ethics. Afterwards Interactive session allowed students to engage directly with the speakers.
